Who this applies to

This policy covers deckbuilderherriman.com and the enquiry form on it. It does not cover any third-party website you reach by following a link from here.

What the form collects

The quote request form on the contact page asks for, and stores, the following:

• Your first and last name
• Your email address
• Your phone number, if you choose to provide it — this field is optional
• The property address or city the enquiry relates to
• Which service you are interested in, selected from a list
• Whatever you write in the free-text message field

Submissions are stored in the website’s own database using the Formidable Forms plugin, and a notification is sent to the site’s administrator email address so the enquiry is seen. Nothing else is collected by the form.

What it is used for

To answer your enquiry, arrange a site visit, and prepare a quote. That is the entire purpose. We do not use it to build a marketing list, we do not sell it, and we do not pass it to third parties for their own purposes.

Technical data collected automatically

Like nearly all websites, this one runs on hosting that keeps server logs. Those typically record IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested, and they exist for security and troubleshooting. The site also uses caching and performance software provided by the host, which may set technical cookies needed for the site to function.

The site does not run advertising trackers. If analytics or advertising tools are added in future, this policy should be updated at the same time.

Third parties involved

• The web host, which stores the site and its database and keeps server logs.
• Formidable Forms, the plugin that runs and stores form entries. Entries are held in this site’s own database.
• Google Fonts, used to serve the typefaces the site is set in. Requests for those font files go to Google’s servers.

How long entries are kept

Form entries remain in the site database until they are deleted. There is no automatic deletion schedule. If you want your enquiry removed, ask through the contact form and it can be deleted.

Your choices

You can ask what has been stored about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Use the contact form to make the request. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under law, and those apply regardless of what this page says.

Children

This site is aimed at homeowners and is not directed at children. The form should not be used by anyone under 18.

Changes

If what the site does changes — a new plugin, an analytics tool, a different form — this page should be updated to match. A policy that no longer describes the site is worse than none.
